DOJ Deputy Chief’s Epstein Client List Comments
The Epstein client list has long been at the center of public debate, and now new comments by a DOJ deputy chief have sparked outrage across the country. In a hidden camera video released by O’Keefe Media Group, DOJ Acting Deputy Chief Joseph Schnitt was recorded saying the government would “redact every Republican” while “leaving all Democrat people” on the Epstein client list.
These shocking remarks fed the belief that Washington elites use government power to protect their own. Schnitt’s statement sounded like confirmation of partisan redactions designed to favor one side over another. But within 24 hours, the Department of Justice issued a formal denial, saying his words had “zero bearing with reality” and were based only on media reports—not insider information.
Why Partisan Redactions Undermine Trust
Whether his comments reflect actual DOJ policy or not, the damage has already been done. Missourians and Americans everywhere are already skeptical about whether government institutions act fairly. When a DOJ deputy chief says out loud that Republicans will be protected and Democrats exposed, it reinforces the fear that justice is political theater.
The Epstein case represents more than one man’s crimes—it represents a network of wealthy and powerful individuals who may have been shielded from accountability. If there are names on that client list, the public deserves to see them all. Anything less erodes confidence in the rule of law.
Government Transparency Matters
True government transparency is not about protecting one political party and punishing the other. It is about giving the American people full access to the truth, even if that truth is uncomfortable. The minute Washington starts picking winners and losers in justice, democracy itself is weakened.
Here in Missouri, folks know the value of honesty. We don’t have time for the games played in Washington. Missourians expect the truth, and we expect accountability from every public official—Republican or Democrat. The Epstein client list should not be treated as a political tool, but as evidence that demands full disclosure.
My Commitment to Accountability
I am not here to defend Republicans or Democrats with ties to Jeffrey Epstein. What I am here to demand is accountability. When I’m elected as your congressman, I will push for legislation that forces disclosure in cases involving public corruption, abuse of power, or national security risks. We cannot let political insiders decide what the public gets to see.
That means requiring full release of documents like the Epstein client list, along with regular oversight audits by independent bodies—not just the DOJ policing itself. It means enacting safeguards so no administration, Republican or Democrat, can redact names to protect their friends or target their opponents.
Missourians Deserve the Truth
This controversy proves once again that transparency matters. Without it, Missourians are left wondering whether Washington is hiding the truth. I will not stand for that. I’ll fight to make sure justice is blind, not redacted by politics.
